The TRUTH About Online Gambling – Part 1

The TRUTH About Online Gambling – Part 1

I have received many questions from prospective students about my opinion of playing baccarat, craps or roulette on the Internet.

Their main concerns are about the “honesty” of these offshore casinos and the likelihood of getting their money if they win.

Some of my students and prospective students are not close to B&M (brick and mortar) casinos or because of age or physical condition, cannot travel even if one were close by.

In this 2 part article, I am going to share my personal experiences and one of my star students, a lady from the Midwest when it comes to playing “online.”

My first gambling venture online was to test a new roulette system I came up with back in 2004. I deposited $350 and started with $1 wagers on selected 12 number groups on the roulette board called “Streets.”

I would play for a short time and come back later for a 5-10 minute session. This went on for several months and at the end of that time I was up over $4,000! So far so good. Now the real question was…would I get paid?

There were a few hoops I had to navigate but in about 10 days I had a bank check for the full amount of $4,000.

Several months later, I duplicated that accomplishment at another online casino.

Back in those days, compared to now, it was a little like the “Wild West” when it came to online gambling integrity and accountability. It is better today but you must still be careful and do some homework.

Before doing anything related to online gambling, I strongly recommend that you check on the internet for watchdog sites which rate the records and honesty of the many sites available today.

Here are a couple to start with:

http://www.onlinevillains.com
http://www.gamblingsites.org
http://www.gamingtheodds.com/scams

I also highly recommend http://www.wizardofodds.com by Michael Shackelford which has a wealth of gambling information as well as specifics about the good and bad internet gambling websites.

When you think about it, no casino online or land based would ever need to cheat their players because 98% have no chance of being long term winners without a solid business plan and winning approach (available on this site of course…sorry… self-serving commercial…but true nonetheless). The average player will lose 100% of their money all by themselves with no “assistance.” I did that for over 40 years until I developed my winning baccarat system.

If a casino is caught cheating a player, they risk large fines and potential loss of their business license worth millions.

In conclusion, Internet gambling IS a good option IF you do your homework.

In The TRUTH About Internet Gambling – Part 2, I will tell you about one of my outstanding students who has taken my system and combined it with Internet gambling and raised it to an art form.

To Larger Unit Chips,

Dr. Tom
