Dr. Tom’s Bet Selection Advice

DR. TOM’S BET SELECTION ADVICE

When we talk about gambling and gambling systems, it all comes down to two main parts.

The first is bet selection and the second is money management.

Today’s post is about bet selection, the first necessary part of a successful system.

First we will talk about some of the most common “wisdom” related to bet selection.

In the casino game of baccarat, there are only 2 bets the serious player should make…a bet on banker or a bet on player.

These bets both pay even money and we never advocate playing tie, dragon, panda, pairs or any other exotic bets the casino offer.

The most common bet selection is called FTL or Follow The Last meaning if banker side won the last bet, we will wager for the next decision to be banker also.

Since straight runs of banker and player normally do not go beyond 3 or 4 decisions in a row, the long term success of FTL is very low.

The next basic bet selection is OTBL or Opposite Time Before Last. If the past two results were BB, a player using OTBL would be betting on the player side for the third upcoming wager.

Another approach is to wait for say 2 or 3 of the same decisions in a row and then start betting AGAINST that run of consecutive decisions to continue. This strategy can produce good results in the short run but will not hold up long term.

There is an infinite number of ways to decide on which bet selection appeals to you; however, let me warn you that if the appeal is the simplicity…one my favorite saying is the “Simple Simply Does Not Win.”

The last bet selection comes under the heading of personal judgement…feelings. intuition or your horoscope.

While these bet selections can be brilliant at times, they are impossible to duplicate over any period of time.

My bet selection is very detailed and unlike anything 99% of all other gamblers have seen. Because it is very much out of the box it does win when others are losing. I do not use the banker player decisions for my bets and as a result, I am the only player betting player for example, when everyone else at the table is on banker.

This is very much like what Einstein said many years ago, if you keep using the same bet selections all the other players are using and continue losing with but you keep expecting different results…you are crazy.
