There are so many baccarat systems for sale on the internet and everywhere else including Craigslist…how do you know which one or ones are the best if you are serious about winning money in the casino?

This is a very deep subject and I have spent the last 40+ years coming up with my own answer. The problem is everyone else wanting to sell you their “answer” will tell you the same thing. How do you know whom to believe?

Many gamblers with little experience believe that the best baccarat system needs to win a gazillion dollars or units in every shoe in order to be a winning system.

While that would be nice, it will never happen and is not even necessary.

Actually, a solid winning system would only need to win 1 or 2 units. For you real beginners…a “unit” is any dollar amount you want it to be. A red chip would be a $5 unit, a green chip would be a $25 unit…etc.

Any system which will consistently win just a few units per shoe consistently, with limited exposure to your bankroll, is all you need to be a winning player.

If, for example, you want to win $500 a day, you only need to win 5 units when you are using black $100 chips.

Another very important factor you must consider when researching which system seller to trust is… what is their (MM) money management?

Any legitimate seller will not hesitate to explain their MM, because that information does not tell you, the potential buyer, the more important part of what they are selling…their bet selection.

There are 3 key factors related to MM…largest single bet in units, number of units risked in a shoe and lifetime bankroll. All three of these factors are directly related to each other.

If seller tells you they win 90+% of the shoes they play (possible with risky MM), ask how many units they are willing to risk in a shoe and what the largest number of units they need to bet on a single wager.

If their MM dictates more than 15-20 units in a shoe and the bet sizes get into double digits…watch out! You will give back all the money you win in the 90% winning shoes when you get to the 10% losing shoes.

My money management rarely goes past a 2 unit bets…3 units is normally my top bet. I only risk 10 units in a shoe and average just 4-5 units a shoe counting winning and losing shoes. Not very sexy or impressive stats for many players.

To the experienced players, however, these stats are quite impressive…because the best baccarat system should be a steady, even if slow, winner.

If your wins are big then your losses will be big also. It is all proportional. The higher the risk, the higher the reward and the higher the loss. The lower the risk, the lower the reward.
